A photographic exhibition featuring the works of Patricia Bannerman & Christine Markgraf opened at the Silk Purse Arts Centre of the West Vancouver Community Arts Council on August 31 and ran until September 12, 2004. The name of the show refers to Latin Month at the Silk Purse.

Over 100 guests enjoyed wine, canapés, the piano stylings of Linda Stubbs and several door prizes.

The Silk Purse not only recognizes and promotes new talent, it occasionally features shows by some of the most honoured artists of this generation in Canada. One of these, Daniel Izzard, opened a show at the Silk Purse immediately following Olé.
